"PC Mover Professional" can transfer your PC across a network, a Laplink USB cable, or a Laplink Ethernet cable. If your computer has multiple users, "PC Mover" gives you the option to transfer some or all of the users. The security information about file ownership and access control is preserved for each user.
Files with a Digital Rights Management (DRM) protection, such as music and multimedia files and programs requiring license keys or activation with a hardware fingerprint, need to be deactivated on the source computer before transferring them to your new one.
