Architect 3D provides interactive 3D viewing options, including “Walk-Through” and “Fly-Around”, “Overhead” and room exposition, allowing you to focus on selected rooms.
You can easily adjust the altitude and height levels, as well as the viewing speed and the camera angle.
Navigate using walk-through
You are able to walk through your design with the help of the tool.
You can inspect the exterior, the rooms and adjust the elevation to change floors:
1. Open a 3D View window and click the Walk-Through button.
An alternative is to click 3D menu > 3D Navigation > Walk-Through
2. Position the cursor within the 3D view, then click-and-drag in the direction you want to move. Right-click will allow you to pan in the direction you want.
You can adjust the walk-through view in the 2D design-window using the Viewpoint icon. The Viewpoint icon represents the position from which you’re viewing in 3D.
Drag the Viewpoint to a new location in the design window to update the 3D view, then drag the arrow to the centre point to rotate the view.
NOTE: You may need to zoom out in the 2D-mode to locate the Viewpoint icon.
Adjust your walk-through elevation
The default walk-through elevation is 5-0. You can adjust the elevation by following either of these steps:
- Press and hold the right mouse button, drag up to raise the elevation and drag down to lower it.
- An alternative is to click 3D menu > 3D Navigation > Walk-Through Elevation and type a new elevation measurement, in inches, then click OK.
