NOTE: It’s advised to use the same versions of Architect 3D.
Please copy the entire User Library (C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Punch! Software\User Library) from your first computer over to your other machine.
Restart the application to load all new content, then open the project, so all materials and objects render successfully.
You can populate the User Library by copying items from another library. You can accomplish that by using the application itself or the Windows Explorer.
You can create and delete folders if you decide to use the Windows Explorer.
The User Library is located here:
C:\Users\<USER>\My Documents\Punch! Software\User Library.
After creating a category, you can copy content that is available in the application.
You need three files to copy the User Library successfully:
NOTE: If any of them are missing, you won’t be able to use them.
.pob file
.pod file
.ppv file
Note: Adding content to the User Library is recommended in folders where no sub-sections are present. Example, a category “Patio Pavers” is present, you cannot add sub-sections in it – “Light patio pavers” and “Dark patio pavers.” All folders need to be content exclusive.
To create a new category in Windows Explorer:
- Locate the specified folder:
C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Punch! Software\User Library - Double-click the folder for the library where you want to add a category.
- Click the New Folder button, type the category name and press ENTER.
