How to invert negative to a positive ?

Note that MS Paint can help you convert a scanned negative into a positive

Just open MS Paint and load the image file with the negative film and press Ctrl + A to select all.
Then right-click on the image and chose the Invert colour command to convert it into a positive. Proceed with saving the result as a new image.
